MAY DANCE MARATHON!

Pet Shop Boys (Acidtone Edit):

The Pet Shop Boys start Disconet's May Dance Marathon with the electrifying Acidtone Edit of "Always On My Mind" on EMI Records Ltd.  This classic 1988 floor-packing favorite exemplifies their vast range of creativity.  It's a trend-setter like their first single "West End Girls."  Now Steven Von Blau has created an exciting, heart-pounding acid house edit that will always be on your mind.

SIDE A RUNS:  10:28 at 127 BPM.

Diana Ross, Donny Osmond and Belle Stars:

Side B ignites with "Workin' Overtime" by Diana Ross, the debut 12" single from her upcoming Motown Records LP.  This R&B/dance tune is arranged brilliantly with a sharp bass line surrounding the always captivating, trademark vocal delivery of Diana Ross.  Mike Carroll worked overtime to create this special Disconet edit that's sure to pack the dance floor.  Next up is "Soldier Of Love," a new, mature up-to-date sound for Donny Osmond.  This Top 10 pop/dance tune has captured the hearts, once again, of old and new.  So join the forces and play the Disconet extended version for your crowd.  The Belle Stars wrap up Side B with "Iko Iko."  This Capitol Records release from the Academy Award winning movie "Rain Man" is storming up the charts.  Dennis Muyet's thunderous edit will cause a storm on your floor.

SIDE B RUNS:  6:14 at 106 BPM, 6:09 at 98 BPM and 5:32 at 105 BPM.

Short Circuit and Ron Lovely:

Bonus Side 1 explodes from down under with a pop/dance rendition of "Band Of Gold" by the Australian recording group Short Circuit featuring Lisa Edwards.  This provocative 12" dance record was produced by Trevor Courtney & John French, and is from the LP "Waiting For The Big One", on Central Station Records Pty. Ltd.  Now Mark Styles and Steven Von Blau have added their golden touch to create the Disconet remix of "Band Of Gold" that will make sparks fly on your dance floor.  Next is "Don't Call Me" by Ron Lovely.  This contemporary mid-tempo dance tune was written and produced by Ron Lovely and Mark Styles.  Mark Styles created a special Disconet remix for this program.

BONUS SIDE 1 RUNS:  6:20 at 121 BPM and 5:26 at 121 BPM.

a-ha and Bitchin' 50s Medley:
